I've posted a new thread with a more detailed description of the bug, so hopefully it will be addressed soon. Update 2: I'm now pretty sure it's dependent on whether or not you're the squad host. Either way, it's a very useful tool to have with Umbra especially higher-danger missions and it really sucks to not have reliable access to it. It may only be triggerable for you if you're the instance host, though I can't verify that. Either it's available or it's not, according to my (relatively basic) situation testing. Whether or not it triggers for a given mission seems to change from mission instance to mission instance, and I can't find a pattern to it. It does appear however that in the rare instances where you can activate it in a mission while using Umbra, you can reliably activate it throughout that whole mission. No other frame seems to have a problem with it. Opening Slam is pretty much 100% reliable with Umbra in the Simulacrum but almost never triggers in any multiplayer mission when using him. Update: After some more experimenting in the Simulacrum and a few more missions, I can't find any more evidence to support my theory. I love playing Excal Umbra and I really wish this function was more reliable. I'll try to do more testing with Opening Slam later (I don't have Killer's Rush unlocked yet □) to explore this theory and update this post if I find anything more concrete. If Killer's Rush is also still not working, it may be because of the same bugged interaction mentioned by OP. Transference in still works just fine, but the Opening Slam double combo counter effect doesn't trigger because its activation is erroneously automatically overridden by whatever Umbra was doing at the instant of the button input. This is not true however for Excalibur Umbra, as even with Transference active, it still take full damage. Because of this, my theory is that it's possible that if Umbra is in the middle of an action (anything from shooting to having one of his abilities active) when you as the Operator press the melee input while in mid-air, whatever action he's doing is not properly interrupted by the resulting Transference in. According to the Warframe Wiki: 'While Transference is active, the Warframe becomes invulnerable to damage from all sources however if the Warframe is currently using a channeled ability, it will still receive 10 damage from all sources'. It works 9 times out of 10 in the Simulacrum for me but maybe once out of 10 in an actual multiplayer mission. Weirdly, Opening Slam appears to work almost all the time in the Simulacrum when used with Excal Umbra, but not in a mission.
